CommentSynonymy: Oligodon eberhardti had been considered as a synonym of O. catenata (e.g. by Zhao 2006) but has been removed from the synonymy of O. catenata (e.g. by Ziegler et al. 2007).

Oligodon eberhardti is supposed to have broken vertebral stripes.

Distribution: not in Guangxi fide JIANG et al 2012. 
EtymologyNamed after Philippe Albert Eberhardt (1872-1942), Swiss botanist who was in Tonkin (Vietnam) 1906-1920.
