Comment | Habitat: aquatic, inhabiting flowing streams. Diet: fishes, frogs, tadpoles, freshwater shrimp and earthworms. Behavior: nocturnal Distribution: not in Vietnam, despite recent reports from there, which actually represent Opisthotropis haihaensis (fide Ziegler et al. 2019).
