| Etymology | The specific epithet, bisbali, noun in the genitive case, is dedicated to our deceased friend, Francisco J. Bisbal E. (1953-2020). This eponymy honors his close friendship with the first author, and recognizes his more than 30 years (1980-2014) as Director of the Museum of the Rancho Grande Biological Station (EBRG), Venezuela. It also highlights his efforts on behalf of the highest environmental authorities in Venezuela to promote the knowledge and conservation of the Venezuelan fauna. |
