Comment | Synonymy: This species was suspected to be a synonym of Pelodiscus sinensis (FRITZ & OBST 1999). However, Yang et al. (2011) argued that it is a valid species, although they did not provide a revised diagnosis. Hence the status of the species remains a bit unclear. Habitat: freshwater (rivers and tributaries, swamps) Distribution: see map in Farkas et al. 2019: 82 (Fig. 6). |
