Type locality: Round Island.  
Reproductionoviparous. Exhibits temperature‐dependent sex determination (TSD) fide Cornejo-Páramo et al. 2020 (and references therein).

CommentConservation: From Mauritius proper only fossils are known.

Behavior: Secondarily nocturnal “day” gecko with a vertically elliptical pupil.
