comoraegrandensis: Grande Comore; Type locality: Nioumadzaha, Grande Comore, 11° 30’ S, 43° 25’ E.

Terra typica restricta: Moheli Island (MERTENS 1922).

Diagnosis 
CommentNomenclature: The hyphen in this name is permitted by article 32.5.2.4.3 of the code: “If the first element is a Latin letter used to denote descriptively a character of the taxon, it must be retained and connected to the remainder of the name by a hyphen.” 
Etymologynamed after the V-shaped black (Latin “niger”) on its throat. The name is correctly formed according to ICZN Article 32.5.2.4.3. “If the first element is a Latin letter used to denote descriptively a character of the taxon, it must be retained and connected to the remainder of the name by a hyphen.”
