CommentSynonymy: P. belli was synonymized with Philothamnus heterodermus by LOVERIDGE 1958: 64 and remained a synonym until TRAPE & BALDÉ 2014 revalidated it.

Distribution: Not in Liberia fide Senter & Chippaux 2022.
