CommentSynonymy: Burbrink et al. 2019 considered iarakaensis as a synonym of arctifasciata, based on the fact that “the one known Phisalixella iarakaensis specimen is sympatric with P. arctifasciata, and identical in all respects except an additional scale row on each body flank. However, as dorsal scale row variation is common in other Phisalixella species, we thus consider this to represent intraspecific variation.”

Type species: Heterurus arctifasciatus DUMÉRIL & BIBRON 1854 is the type species of the genus Phisalixella Domergue, 1995.

Habitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018).
