Diagnosis | DESCRIPTION: Maximum known SVL about 150 mm in males; dorsal caudal scales keeled, straight; ventral scales about 18-20 in a transverse row and 34-38 in a longitudinal row; fourth toe subdigital scales 74-78 (combined counts for both fourth toes); femoral pores 56-63 (combined counts for both series); fifteenth caudal verticil with about 40 scales. Dorsal ground color (as preserved) ashy gray to gray-green; dorsum with trace of 3 slightly darker, indistinct, longitudinal stripes, with suggestion of another more lateral stripe on each side (total 5 stripes); flanks bluish; head and tail olivaceous; venter straw-colored or milky, encroached upon laterally by blue of flanks and side of head (Schwartz & Henderson 1991: 188). |
