Diagnosis | DESCRIPTION: SVL in males to 111 mm; dorsal caudal scales keeled, straight; ventral scales 12-14 in a transverse row and 34-38 in a longitudinal row; fourth toe subdigital lamellae 68-82 (combined counts for both fourth toes); femoral pores 50-62 (combined counts for both series); fifteenth caudal verticil with about 33 scales. Dorsal and lateral surfaces dark brown to slaty black, patternless or with brown flecking on dorsum (males only); head distinctly browner in males; tail occasionally with green speckling; venter dark green to black, mottled light blue (Schwartz & Henderson 1991: 189). |
