Diagnosis | Diagnosis: About 30 scales from eye to eye across head; nasals in contact or partly separated; nostrils directed more or less directly forward; dorsal scales heterogeneous, enlarged scales strongly keeled, imbricate, flat, not tuberculate, posterior border not sharply upturned; sides of back of head and neck with long, flat, upturned fringe-like scales; both sides of fourth toe with long, well-developed fringes.
