Type locality:”hallado en zona precordillera, a más de 1400 m [elevation], 17 km al N de Esquel, entre Esquel y Leleque, Chubut (42° 52’ S, 71° 10’ W), en ambientes rocosos, sedimentos de erosión post-glacial.” Corrected to “Laguna de la Vaca o de Las Vacas (42°28’45”S; 67°21’54”W; 680 m elevation), provincia del Chubut” by Scolaro et al. 2005.
