Type locality: Borneo (but see comment).  
Reproductionviviparous (not imputed, fide Zimin et al. 2022) 
TypesType: BMNH 1946.1.8.55 (and possibly additional specimens).

CommentDistribution: The type locality is erroneously given as Borneo and India. Not in India fide I. Das (pers. comm., 25 July 2012).

Similar species: P. pulverulentus.
