Diagnosis | DIAGNOSIS: A small insular species of Pseudalsophis that differs from all other species of the genus by the following unique combination of characters: ventral counts in females 174–176 and males 177–183; subcaudal counts 87–114; edge of the capitulum on its asulcate side squared instead of rounded; capitular groove forming a sharp constriction on the organ. Further differs from P. darwini sp. nov. by its dorsum pattern of black vertebral and light paravertebral longitudinal bands. |
