| Diagnosis | Diagnosis. “Differs from all other members of the genus in that the flanks are covered with regular rows of well-developed, keeled and somewhat spinose scales, which are for the most part not separated by granular interspaces ; fronto-nasal much reduced in size and well separated from anterior loreal on either side; ventral plates in only 10 longitudinal rows; femoral pores reduced in number.” (FITZSIMONS 1947) |
