Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A Pseudoxyrhopus with 19 rows of dorsal scales at midbody; 8 supralabials; bluntly rounded snout; pink venter, pale collar, and thin dark longitudinal lines on body. |

Etymology | Named after the Malagasy word “kely” (pronounced “kaylee” = small), referring to its small size (sexual maturity it reached at 180 mm SVL). |
