Type locality: Telouet, Imi n´Tahout, Morocco.  
Reproductionoviparous 
TypesLectotype: MNHN-RA 1916.0039, designated by Arnold 1990, who found that one of the syntypes (MNHN-RA 1916.0037) is Q. trachyblepharus. Paralectotypes: MNHN-RA 1916.0035-0041 and MNHN-RA 1916.0042 exchanged with British Museum in 1917: 4 males, 4 females. 
Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: Listed as synonym of Quedenfeldtia trachyblepharus by WERMUTH 1965 (following LOVERIDGE 1947). 
EtymologyNamed after Max Quedenfeldt (1851-1891), German naturalist who mainly worked on beetles.
