Type locality: Kihanga valley, Uzungwa Scarp Forest Reserve (Luhega), Udzungwa Mountains, SE Tanzania.

TypesHolotype: MTSN 006TA; Paratypes: ZFMK 73964 (ex-MTSN 004TA; erroneously published as ZFMK 73963 by MENEGON, SALVIDIO & TtLBURY, 2002) and ZFMK 73965 (ex-MTSN 009TA).
