Comment | Phylogenetics: Using c-mos as a sequence marker, Saurodactylus is paraphyletic, with S. mauritanicus and S. brosseti sister taxa to Teratoscincus przewalskii rather than Saurodactylus fasciatus (RATO & HARRIS 2008). Synonymy: SCHLEICH et al. 1996 includes Saurodactylus mauritanicus WERNER 1929 in the synonymy of S. fasciatus. |
