Type locality: Lao-hsien-cheng (= Lao-xian-cheng), Chouchih Hsien (Zhouzhi County), Shensi (= Shaanzi).  
Reproductionviviparous (not imputed, fide Zimin et al. 2022)

Diagnosis 
CommentScincella tsinlingensis is a synonym of Scincella modesta according to Ouboter 1986.
