Type locality: Pimampiro, San Nicolas, Prov. Imbabura, Ecuador.

DiagnosisDIAGNOSIS. This species is characterized by its low labial count; the presence of only a single labial posterior to the last one entering the orbit; the low ventral and subcaudal counts; and its unique color pattern. (Peters 1957)
