Type locality: “said to be from Brasilia”.

CommentDistribution: Has been erroneously reported from Panama by Villa et al. 1988.

Habitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018). 
EtymologyNamed after Latin longus, long + Latin caudatus, provided with a tail. (Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., April 2024)
