CommentNot listed for Panama by KÖHLER (2000). 
EtymologyNamed after Greek grapto (γραπτός), painted, written + Greek laimos (λαιμός), throat, neck. [“...Most of the specimens have distinctive lines on the throat... It is for this diagnostic aspect of the color-pattern that the species is named graptolaemus (Greek)...”].
