DistributionIndonesia (Yapen Island)

Type locality: “Neu-Guinea, Jobi” [Yapen = Japen Island, Papua Province, Indonesia]. Neotype locality: Serui, Yapen Island, Papua Province, Indonesia (ca. 1.8807°S, 136.2386°E).

TypesNeotype: RMNH RENA 46844, female, collected by D.L. Leiker on 22 February 1952, designated by Kaiser et al. 2018: 31. Syntypes: lost, originally MTD (= MTKD) 876, but destroyed in WWII (see Kaiser et al. 2018).

CommentSynonymy after COGGER 1983.

Distribution: in Australia on Murray Island (Torres Strait), fide Wilson & Swan 2013, but restricted to Yapen Island off New Guinea.
