Type locality: approx. 1 km SSW Udima, Río de Udima (tributary of Río Zaña), 2500 m elevation, Departamento Cajamarca, Perú.

DiagnosisDiagnosis: TORRES-CARVAJAL 2007. 
CommentBelongs to the clades Scelotrema and Microphractoides (fide TORRES-CARVAJAL 2006).

Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after Greek eunetes (εὐνέτης), bedfellow + Greek -opsis (-όψης), suffix denoting likeness. [“...The specific epithet is derived from the Greek noun "euneter" (gender, masculine) meaning "bedmate" or "spouse," and the suffix "-opsis" meaning "having the appearance of." The reference is an allusion to the lack of strong sexual dimorphism in this species...” (from Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., May 2024)
