Comment 
EtymologyNamed after Latin percultus, highly adorned. [“...The specific epithet, percultus, is a Latin adjective derived from the prefix "per-," meaning "very" or "highly," and the adjective "excultus," meaning "adorned" or "elegant; " hence, "highly adorned," in reference to the beautiful and very colorful males of this species...”].
