CommentAbundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyNamed after the Latin prae meaning front or anterior part and ornatus meaning ornate; it refers to the ornate coloration of the head and shoulders in contrast to that of the remainder of the body.
