| Distribution | Colombia (Cauca, Nariño), Ecuador (Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Imbabura, Pichincha, Tungurahua), elevation 2135-3890 m.
Type locality: Guayaquil, Sarayacu, Western Ecuador, and Colombia [Provincia Guayas and Pastaza]. Restricted to San Antonio de Pichincha, 2500 m, Provincia Pichincha, by FRITTS 1974.
