DiagnosisDiagnosis: A very small, slender Diplodactylus (subgenus Strophurus), most like D. jeanae but with rostral widely excluded from nostril and much narrower dark dorso-lateral, mid-lateral and mid-ventral stripes [from STORR 1988] 
CommentGroup: Diplodactylus michaelseni group (subgenus Strophurus). Has been synonymized with D. michaelseni by WERMUTH 1965: 24.

Type species: Oedurella taeniata LÖNNBERG & ANDERSSON 1913: 5 is the type species of the genus Oedurella LÖNNBERG & ANDERSSON 1913. 
EtymologyNamed after Latin “taenia” (= ribbon).
