DiagnosisDiagnosis: Similar to Riopa bowringi except smaller (snout to vent 41), usually darker brown with the frontoparietal single.” (Taylor 1962: 239) 
CommentPhylogenetics: this species nests within S. bowringii fide Le et al. 2021.
