Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy after CEI 1993.

Type species: Pelias trigonatus LEYBOLD 1873 is the type species of the genus Pseudotomodon KOSLOWSKY 1896, now a synonym of Tachymenis. 
EtymologyNamed after Latin trigonum, triangle; three sided figure and Latin -atus, provided with. [“...maculisque obscurioribus, trigonis, tota via jam oppositi romboideis, jam alternantibus trigonis, decurrentibus...”]. (from Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., May 2024)
