Type locality: from Santa Rita, north of Medellin, Colombia, [elevation] 9000 feet = 2743 m, collected by Mr. A. E. Pratt.

TypesSyntypes: BMNH 1946.1.8.63-65 (formerly BMNH 98.10.27.7-9), first two males, third apparently a female, collected by A. E. Pratt (date of collection unknown; accessioned 27 October 1898). However, the BMNH online catalogue gives two syntypes as 1946.1.8.83-84.
