EtymologyNamed after Latin supra, above, beyond; over and Latin cinctus, surrounded, encircled. [“...Kopf oben schwarz, mit einer braungelben Querbinde über der Schnauze hinter den Nasenlöchern, einen ebenso gefärbten Fleck auf dem fünften Supralabiale und den Rändern der angrenzenden Schilder, und einer Querbinde hinter den Parietalia, welche in die schmutzig gelbe Unterseite übergeht...“].
