CommentDistribution: Not listed for Honduras by WILSON & MCCRANIE (2002) but by Solis et al. 2014.

Synonymy: Resurrected from the synonymy of T. melanocephala by SAVAGE (2002). 
EtymologyNamed after Latin armillata, wearing bracelets; wearing collars. [“...The black is bordered behind by a yellow collar of two scales width...”].
