Diagnosis 
CommentTantilla bogerti HARTWEG 1944 was placed into the synonymy of. T. yaquia by MCDIARMID (1968). 
EtymologyThe name yaquia “refers to the Yaqui Indians, whose influence was often felt in the area of the type locality” (McDiarmid, 1977).
