Diagnosis | Diagnosis: Höhere Schuppenwerte als T. mauritanica (133-177 um die Körpermitte, 13-15 Schuppen und Lamellen unter der 1. Zehe, 16-18 unter der 4. Zehe, 21-23 unter der 5. Zehe [jeweils bis zur Zehenbasis]). Von T. deserti durch die viel schwächere Ausprägung der Rückentuberkel, den Kontakt zwischen Rostrale und Nasenloch und die geringere Größe (♂ 81.5mm, ♀ 73 mm) unterscheidbar. Comment | Ceacero et al. (2010) pointed out difficulties of separating T. boehmei and T. m. pallida in the field based on morphology or colouration and some of the suggested diagnostic characters including subdigital lamellae of the 5th toe on the hind foot, the shape of dorsal tubercles, regenerated tail colour and translucent/opaque appearance of the skin appear to overlap between these two species (Geniez et al., 1999; Geniez et al., 2004, Kane et al. 2019). |
