Comment 
EtymologyThis gecko is named after a yacht. The collector of the holotype was the French naturalist Raymond Comte de Dalmas (1862-1930), whose yacht, the Chazalie, was grounded on the sands offCap Blanc, Mauritania (Beolens et al. 2011: 52).
