Type locality: Woodbush Forest Reserve, Naphuno District, Limpopo Province.

CommentConservation: T. eastwoodae is at present considered extinct. It is known only from two specimens, the holotype and another specimen collected by by V.A. Wager in 1928 (Bates et al. 2014, Tolley et al. 2016).

Abundance: only known from the type specimen (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after the collector, A. Eastwood.
