Comment 
EtymologyThe specific name is a patronym honoring Adrien Jean Louis François de Sumichrast, a well-known 19th century Swiss naturalist who worked and remained in Mexico until his death, in 1882 (LEMOS-ESPINAL & DIXON 2013).
