Barboza du Bocage; 1946.8.15.30 (formerly 64.7.13.23), Angola, collected Dr Welwitsch; 64.7.13.35, Pungo Adongo, collected Dr Welwitsch; MNHN 1286 (1866.71, 2798a), Duque de Braganca, presented MBL (as Euprepes quinquaeniatus); ZMB 6479, Duque de Braganca, Angola, donated J.V. Barboza du Bocage. See Bauer et al. (2003: 276) for discussion. Other types were likely to have been in MBL, destroyed by fire in 1978. T. bocagii is in part based on the specimens assigned to Euprepes quinquetaeniatus by Bocage (1867). |
