Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A middle sized, stocky species, with smooth scales on the soles and smooth subdigital lamellae; short limbs and toes, subocular not narrowed, and 32 smooth scales around the body; differing from M. brevicollis, its closest relative, especially in the smooth scales of the soles and the smooth subdigital lamellae.
