Distribution	Europa Island Type locality: “Insel Europa, Strasse von Mocambique”.
Reproduction	oviparous (not imputed, fide Zimin et al. 2022)
Types	Lectotype: SMF 14080 (6163, 1a in Mertens, 1922), Europa I., Mozambique Straits, collected A. Voeltzkow, 1905. Designated by Mertens (1967).
Diagnosis
Comment	Synonymy: MAUSFELD et al (2002) did not distinguish between subspecies of comorensis, nor did they mention infralineata, so this “species” may be synonymous to M. (= Euprepis) comorensis (as suggested in the type catalogue of the SMF). M. maculilabris infralineata nests within T. maculilabris in the molecular tree of Rocha et al. 2010, so we preliminarily treat it as synonym of M. maculilabris. Abundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017).
