DiagnosisDiagnosis: Fairly small, up to at least 47 mm from snout to vent; toes depressed with a lateral fringe of pointed scales and 7-9 scale-rows beneath the third toe of forefoot; rostral and upper labial scales reach nostril; preanal pores absent; cloacal tubercles in one or two rows; tail autotomy general; prefrontal projection absent; upper border of prootic not sloping downwards, with a process for attachment of the epipterygoid which is close to skull roof in the protracted skull; usually 26 presacral vertebrae, 5 nuchal ribs; usually 5 basal caudal vrrtebrae; clavicle not expanded [ARNOLD 1980: 381]. 
CommentSynonymy: Nazarov et al. 2018 included Stenodactylus pulcher within their revalidated genus Trigonodactylus. However, they did not include pulcher in their phylogenetic analysis, despite the fact that DNA sequences are available.

Distribution: not in Saudi-Arabia (Lukas Pola, pers. comm., 30 May 2021) 
EtymologyNamed after Latin “pulcher” = beautiful, handsome, fine, fair.
