Type locality: Marsabit Mountain forest, Kenya  
Reproductionviviparous (not imputed, fide Zimin et al. 2022) 
TypesHolotype: BMNH 1988.406, adult male; Paratypes: ZFMK 55602, male, (formerly BMNH 1988.407, listed as “second syntype: by Campbell & Denzer 2020). 
Diagnosis 
CommentAbundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). 
Etymologynamed after the type locality.
