Type locality: “Vallée de la Kabumbe, région du Mont Kabobo (2400 m elevation), Terr.d’Albertville, Zaire”.

EtymologyNamed after Henri Eugene Alphonse Hubert Schouteden (1881-1972), a zoologist who undertook many expeditions to the Congo.
