EtymologyNamed after James Cowan Greenway Jr. (1903-1989), Curator of Birds, Museum of Comparative Zoology, Harvard.

T. g. lanthanus was named The name lanthanum is an allusion to the fact that the species has been overlooked on South Caicos, from Greek lanthano = escape notice, forget.
