Diagnosis 
CommentFrank & Ramus 1995 give “PETERS 1854” as author. 
EtymologyNamed after Dr. Odoardo Beccari (I843-1920), an Italian botanist, who collected in Indonesia, Malaysia, New Guinea, and Ethiopia.
