DistributionBolivia (Santa Cruz, Serrania de Huanchaca; granit inselbergs in the Bajo Paragua Forest Reserve, Beni), Brazil (Mato Grosso)

Type locality: rocky outcrops along the trail ascending the northern slope of Serrania de Huanchaca, Parque Nacional Noel Kempff Mercado. Provincia Velasco, Dept. Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Lat -13.6167°, Long -60.9167°.

TypesHolotype: UTA R-39605 (field tag M. B. Harvey 5013), an adult male collected by James Aparicio E. and Michael B. Harvey on 22 September 1995. Paratypes. Three males, nine females, and three juveniles (UTA R-39603-04; NK R-1075-85) collected from the Serrania de Huanchaca and granitic inselbergs in the Bajo Paraguá Forest Reserve by Michael B. Harvey in October 1994 and Lucindo Gonzales A., Ingrid Fernandes, and Gustavo J. Scrocchi from Campamento Los Torres, December, 1995.
