Reproduction	oviparous
Types	Holotype: UTA R-38052 (field tag M. B. Harvey 2055), an adult male collected by Barbara Phillips on 14 September 1993. Paratypes (7).-UTA R-38051, 38053- 56, NK R-1086-87, collected at the same locality as the holotype by M. B. Harvey and B. Phillips in 1993-1994 and G. Scrocchi and L. Gonzales in 1995.

Etymology	Named after Greek xanthos (ξανθός), blond, yellow of various shades + Greek cheilos (χείλος), lip. [“...he specific epithet xanthochilus is a Latinized noun in apposition and is derived from the Greek xanthos meaning yellow and cheilos meaning lip...”].
