Diagnosis	Diagnosis: RODRIGUES 1987: 185.
Comment	Habitat: rocks Diet: a large percentage of the diet of this species (10-50%) consists of ants (Lucas et al. 2023).
Etymology	Named after Latin “montanus”, meaning “pertaining to mountains.
